( 日本語は下) Hello people, It’s Cozi. One of very respected downtempo DJ in Japan / a good friend of mine Yumii crafted 1 hour mix for my label Hypo Espresso Records ? … She had been the royal supporter of Hypo since I founded in 2005, and kept encouraged me through all those years. So she is a perfect person for this mission. I asked her to use any tunes from us, but surprisingly she picked many of my most melodic works. Some of those tunes I haven’t listened for a looong time, just because I felt my production was too rough or too pop, so bit embarrassed after the release ( I’m sure any music producers has these awkward experiences ). But in her mix, even those ‘ Ghosty ‘ tunes ( Because they haunted me for many years ) sounded very fresh to my ears and it gave me goosebumps. Her Mix made me feel that those tunes are all lovely children of mine, nothing to feel shame about, and in fact, they are all beautiful in their own way.

皆さんこんにちわ、コージです。 日本のダウンテンポDJシスターのYumiiちゃんが、私のレーベル Hypo Espresso Records のために1時間のミックスを作ってくれました? 彼女は２００５年のレーベル立ち上げ以来ずっとサポートし続けてくれたDJの一人。このミックスをお願いするのにピッタリでした。レーベルの曲ならどれでも使ってくださいとお願いしたのですが、意外にも私の過去のとてもメロディックな作品を多く選んでくれました。その中には、自分のプロダクションがラフすぎたり、ポップすぎたりして、リリース後に少し恥ずかしく感じて長い間聴いていなかった曲もありました（音楽プロデューサーなら誰でも経験することだと思います）。でも彼女のミックスでは、そのような「幽霊」のような曲たち（それは何年もの間、私を悩ませていたから、、）でさえ、とても新鮮に聞こえて本当に鳥肌が立ったんです。 彼女のミックスは、それらの楽曲たちも全て私の可愛い子供たちであり、何も恥じることなどなく、皆それぞれの在り方で美しいのだと感じさせてくれました。 Yumiiちゃん、本当にありがとう！！?
