Between ’95- 99, Cozi was obsessed with creating a collage diary book with photos, postcards, party flyers, stickers, pages from magazines, garbage and junks she found on the street and hand writing diary both in Japanese and English. Also she wrote down so many poems for her tour which a fusion show of DJ playing her tracks, accompanied by her poetry reading and 2 dancers.
She took inspiration from the diary art books by Peter Hill Beard ( January 22, 1938 – March 31/April 19, 2020 ), an American artist, photographer, diarist, and writer who lived and worked in New York City, Montauk and Kenya. Her book was a thick folder book that was entirely covered by fake leopard fur.
She wanted to create a sound track for these images and her life in chaotic 90’s Tokyo. Then in 1999 she completed her first self produce album ‘ Super Cozy ‘ under the name Cozi which eventually being released from Danish indie label Tender Production. Read more story of this:

Entre 1996 et 1999, dans mes années TOKYO, j’étais totalement obsédée par la création d’un journal intime en collage, en utilisant des photos, des prospectus, des bricoles, des articles de magazine, etc. Et j’écrivais à la main des journaux intimes en anglais et en japonais… Et beaucoup de poèmes aussi. Je les ai gardés privés pendant 25 ans, mais j’ai décidé de partager certaines pages parce que j’ai pensé que cela pourrait être intéressant pour certaines personnes qui veulent connaître l’ambiance underground de Tokyo dans les années 90. Il contient également des photos de mon voyage au Royaume-Uni et au Maroc et au-delà.

1996年から1999年のTOKYO時代、写真、チラシ、ジャンク、雑誌の切れ端などを使ってコラージュのダイアリーブックを作ることに夢中になっていた。英語と日本語の両方で日記を書き、たくさんの詩も書いていた。25年間非公開にしてたけど、90年代の東京のアンダーグラウンドな雰囲気を知りたい人には面白いかもしれないと思い、いくつかのページを公開することにしました。また、当時イギリスやモロッコに旅した時の写真もあります。
