I don’t categorize myself as a feminist, but my life certainly had been driven by one obsession to break through my own glass ceiling. So, in honor of [ International Women’s Day ], I made this collage ‘ L’influence ‘ as a tribute to the women who have been a great inspiration of my life.
Interestingly, there are no musicians ( Juliette Gréco falls into the performance artist category in my mind ) … All of them, in their own way, persevered in their work for the rest of their lives and became pioneers who embody a worldview that no one else can emulate. Four out of six are painters, which also makes sense. Because for me, making music on the computer is like painting a three-dimensional painting using a variety of invisible paints. You have to narrow down the theme and face the canvas meticulously. Paying close attention to composition, lights & shadow, and how to preserve the ‘ Empty space ‘.
