( 日本語は下) Dubmission Records ( UK ) just released Supercozi’s new EP with mcthfg ” FEARLESS “, which a cover & remixes of Psychedelic rock legend Pink Floyd ‘s iconic song ( 1971 Released ).
EP contain 3 remixes – By herself, and an organic vibe electronica by British unit Animat, and more Dubbed up version by mcthfg. Cozi designed EP cover as well, also a music clip with her remix is in the oven, and is expected to be online in late February.

” Hi everybody, it’s been for a while. I’m so happy and feel honored to announce this release.
I recorded my singing in my old tiny house in last July .. Middle of Covid pandemic. Since then we all witnessed so many things happened all around the world, didn’t we ? And I’m amazed to witnessing that their lyrics is STILL perfectly resonating with the human spirits of 2020-2021, 50 years after of it’s original release in 1971. I added lyrics bellow, so please read while you are listening …
EP include a beautiful, beautiful remix by an English Electronic unit Animat ( Mark Daly & Michael Harding ). Sadly Michael past away on 15th Jan and today is his funeral in UK. Mark told me that this EP was the last work they did together, and I feel so humbled and honored to be a part of his remarks on this planet. Thank you for the inspiration. Rest of us will carry on the music path even though it’s a hard rocky road for all of us … “

SUPERCOZIとmcthfgコラボによる新作EP ” FEARLESS “が、本日イギリスのDubmission Recordsよりリリースされました。サイケデリック・ロックの最高峰とも言える伝説のバンド、ピンクフロイドの１９７１年リリースのアイコン的１曲のカバーで、彼女がヴォーカルを担当し、シングルトップに収められたリミックスもプロデュース。他にイギリスのユニットAnimatによるオーガニックなバイブが溢れるエレクトロニカ・リミックス、そしてmchfgによるダブ・リミックスの計３ヴァージョンが収録されています。
また、彼女のリミックスを使用したミュージック・ビデオも製作中で、2下中旬にはオンラインでの公開が予定されています。

”皆さんおひさしぶりです、コージーです。本日ピンクフロイドの名曲”フィアレス”のカバーリミックス集をリリースできて本当に光栄に思います。
この作品で私はとても久しぶりに歌いました。去年の7月に住んでた小さな家でレコーディングしたのですが、パンデミックの真っ只中で、それ以来私たちは何と沢山のドラマが世界で起きるのを見てきたことか、、1971年のオリジナル・リリースから50年を経た2020年から2021年という現在に、この歌詞がヒューマン・スピリッツと時代の精神に完全に共鳴している不思議を感じました。下に歌詞をつけたので聴いている間に読んでみてくださいね。
EPにはAnimat (Mark Daly & Michael Harding)による美しいリミックスが収録されています。悲しいことにマイケルは1月15日に他界し、今日はイギリスで彼の葬儀が行われました。マークはこのEPが彼らの最後の作品だと言っていましたが、この地球上に彼が残した足跡の一部になれることをとても光栄に思います。インスピレーションをありがとう。私たち残りのミュージシャンは、音楽を続けることが困難な時代であっても、粛々と自分たちの道を歩いていきたいと思います。”
