After years of painting with sound, I’ve started painting with color.
I’ve been doing a lot of Acrylic painting after I completed new album ‘ 2025 Bass Odyssey ‘ ( Coming out from Matsuri Digital Chill Japan on 27th June !! ) in this April, to recharge and refresh my mind at the same time.
Beside of music production, making arts using my own hands had been always my another realm from young age. Collage diary in 90’s Tokyo and paints and drawing in UK and Bali years .. Whatever mediums are, they are the visual echoes from my inner realms. Just like my music, but other side of the coin.
And life in South of France since 2018 particularly fan the flame in me to capture the moments and inspiration like a snap shot of my thoughts and imaginary scene.
Only dozen of original acrylic dreamscapes on paper for the seekers, dreamers, and feelers — like you.
As a start, I put them on my Bandcamp’s Merch section. Each pages tells you a little behind the scene stories. Some pairings are deeply connected with my songs. So if you know my music well then could be interesting to connect dots between my creation in audio & visual expression both. All pieces will be shipped within 3 days upon purchase ( Frame excluded ), also accompanied with free download of EP ‘ Summer edit ‘ , contain 3 down tempo smooth chill tunes for summer.

皆さんニースからこんにちわ。コージーです。今日は皆さんと分かち合いたいニュースがあります。
何年も音で絵を描いてきたけど、今度は色で絵を描き始めました。
先月、ニューアルバム「2025 Bass Odyssey」を完成させた後、充電すると同時に気持ちをリフレッシュするために、アクリル画をたくさん描き始めました。このアルバムは6月27日に日本のMatsuri Digital Chillからリリースされます。そしてこれが終わったら、音楽制作から少し離れるかもしれない。おそらく最低でも1年は。まだわかりません。
おそらく、この25年間、多くのスタジオ・ワークをこなしてきたことで、音楽に対して少し燃え尽きた感があるのかもしれない。
そして今、2枚の満足のいくソロ・アルバム（昨年の「Cinemadelica」と今度のアルバム）を短期間（2年…通常フル・アルバムの制作にはもっと時間がかかるので、これは私にとっては珍しいことです）で完成させたこと、そして、伝説のオゾラ・フェスティバルの、サイチル世界では最高峰とされるドーム・ステージで、フェスティバルの最終日にプロデューサー・セットでブッキングされたことで、個人的な一区切りというか、マイルストーンを達成した想いです。
25年間のスタジオでの絶え間ないハードワークの甲斐あって、ここまでたどり着いたと実感しています。だから、私は自分自身をとても誇りに思うし、音楽プロデューサーとしての自分の旅に心から感謝しています。
しかし、燃え尽きてしまったと感じる時にできる最善のことは、純粋な喜びを再び得られるようなことをすることです。そしてアートを作ることは、若い頃から常に私のもうひとつの領域でした。90年代の東京でのコラージュ日記（こちらでご覧になれます）、イギリスやバリでの絵の具やドローイング……媒体が何であれ、それらは私の内なる領域からの視覚的なエコーです。私の音楽と同じですが、それらは同じコインの別の側面なのです。
そして、2018年からの南フランスでの生活は、私の思考や想像上の情景、インスピレーションを受けた瞬間を、スナップショットのように捉えたいという欲望を燃え上がらせてくれました。
今後はたくさんの絵を描いていくつもりです。なぜなら私はサメのようなもので、想像の海を泳ぐのをやめたら、窒息して沈んでしまうから。泳ぎ続けなければならないからです。
そこで今日は、私のアクリル・オン・ペイパーの最初のミニシリーズ「Dreamwave Collection 1」をご紹介します。あなたのような探求者、夢見る人、感じる人のために、紙にアクリル絵の具で描いたオリジナル・ドリームスケープです。
