For this release, I wrote Trilogy mini sci-fi story for a PDF that only Bandcamp buyers can DL. But as it’s been almost two years, I’m going to post them here with Japanese translation.
Each story is dedicated to one of the three songs on the EP, but in total it is one story, like a film. Fabien Le Roy (Foobzipatham), a good friend of Blue Planet Corporation and French translation advisor for the science fiction novel ‘ Dune ‘ by Frank Harvard, provided editorial advice.

Congas Atlas – Conceptual-Trilogy-Story
1 – Into The Wild
Year 2XXX on Earth. The story began with her familiar dream – Tropical jungle, echoing sound of birds and monkeys, and an enormous abandoned metallic cocoon in the morning mist … But every time her hand almost touches the entering button, she awakes with an overwhelmingly nostalgic feeling.
So after having the same dream, It was another grim rainy grey morning for Masumi, an experimental prototype replicant girl, to find herself again in a tiny recharge capsule.
Masumi has a smooth pale coloured skin and almond shaped brown eyes and shoulder length curly black hair which her creator copied from his daughter who was killed in a surreal accident during archaeological site research.
Site was once called Zacca 33 in ancient time where functioned as a base specialized in cryptocurrency mining, also was secretly developing Dahara, a portal gate to other realm. But when ancient civilisation went down, Dacca 33 site was abandon and then jungle swallowed it up as the earth’s surface temperature rose aggressively.
Now Zacca 33 was entirely covered by luminous toxic moss that grows up eating radiation from dozen of crippled nuclear plants that scattered around in the nearly destroyed continent.
Far away from Zacca 33, Masumi lived in CORAL – Where the neon color residential micro-spheres layers up vertically, and thousand of layers were stretched out to the horizon. From the outside, it may looks pretty but each sphere was closely monitored by AI government Quantum 9 and living condition were dark and suffocative. CORAL was protecting humans and replicants both from still-deadly radiation for hundreds of years after the catastrophic event caused by a radical pole shift.
CORAL was sustaining itself with Xavda technology which the constant activity by artificial synapses were the essential source of energy. In CORAL, nearly all humans were considered as replaceable commodity except for a few shameless traitors who sought to deprive humans of their power. Xavda extraction and system operation were largely conducted by replicants who also will be terminated after the certain usage time. But Quantum 9 had been successfully created a deep division between humans and replicants even both side of them were only exist to sustain the system. Masumi never went outside of this draining eco-system as long as her memory chip can trace back.
One fateful morning, Masumi was approached by Veck, a human resistance who’s belong to an organisation that fights with Quantum 9 to change the ongoing system. Veck told her that she was designed to awaken others – human and replicants both – by her creator which was a father of Veck.
For Veck, Masumi was a holographic emotional trigger who activates his trauma caused by seeing his younger sister evaporated in the front of his eyes. Despite the inner struggle, He believes she is capable to access to the memories from his deceased sister, who was a prodigy and was just about revealing the secret of Dahara and Xavda technology which still little known for humans.
Masumi decides to follow him to unknown, in hope for meeting her creator. So … Veck and Masumi hijacked a vehicle and flied into the wild ……
After a half-day flight journey, Veck and Masumi landed on the island where the Dacca 33 site still remains. They walked through the jungle in a heavy rain and Masumi was astonished at seeing graceful ancient Asian temples and derelict towns with ancient Asian alphabets board signs everywhere.
She also noticed that she hadn’t fallen ill despite her lack of radiation protective clothing, and Veck informed her that the radiation level had drastically decreased on this island in the last 9 years, because the Dahara portal had somehow begun cleansing the air and the water, by sending unknown infrasonic – low-frequency sound – waves from the inside of the Dacca 33 site.
Veck brought Masumi into the ‘ City ‘ where the fractal shaped buildings were well hidden under the jungle surface and behind the mega waterfalls and artificial lakes, and Veck introduced Masumi to his people the ‘ Nanmo ‘ – Tens of thousand of rebels, a mix of both renegade humans and replicants, who believe that Dacca 33 is not a myth and that help will come from another realm to attenuate radioactivity all across the Earth and overthrow the domination of Quantum 9 if the Dahara portal is fully activated.
Masumi asked the whereabouts of her creator, but Nanmo leaders told her that Professor Kun, Veck’s father, had been taken hostage years before by Quantum 9, after he had successfully entered the Dacca 33 site with his math-genius 17-year-old daughter Masumi and Veck, who was 20 back then, and just completed various engineering training with outstanding scores. Veck remembered that his sister had broken the code to activate Dahara, but then got dissolved into the spiral-shaped wormhole after the explosion.
Shocked by this revelation, Masumi blamed Veck for not informing her sooner in CORAL. But Veck confessed that he couldn’t, as he feared Masumi wouldn’t have come with him if she knew her creator actually wasn’t on the island.
Strange things began to happen to Masumi from that night on. She started receiving coded messages day and night and couldn’t figure out what they meant. She told Veck that maybe human Masumi was still alive and trying to contact her, but Veck remained convinced that no human being could survive such an incident, making this contact impossible.
The Nanmo city council formed a task force with skilled rebels along with Veck and Masumi for a mission to enter Zacca 33 and fully activate the Dahara portal. On the same day, the Quantum 9 army attacked the city after they tracked down Masumi’s location.
Meanwhile in CORAL, an army of resistance has also risen and attempted to disconnect the artificial synaptic network that controls Quantum 9 and CORAL. This orchestrated revolution was possible because CORAL rebels and Nanmo’s had been secretly collaborating for years. Many members of both groups were largely influenced and educated through the information, the data and the words of wisdoms imparted in a digital book written by Professor Kun after he escaped from Quantum 9. He created Masumi’s replicant shortly after his escape to an underground bunker under the protection of rebels, but disappeared after completing her. Nobody knew where he went because he chose to be forgotten from the world, as he kept blaming himself for the loss of his daughter, all for the sake of his research.
The attack by Quantum 9 kept going strong. While the City held its ground and fought back, the task force successfully entered the Zacca 33 site with Masumi’s help. Then in the front of the Dahara portal facility, Masumi received the last piece of code from akashic records of human Masumi, and finalized the activation process.
The Dahara was activated at last. The portal began to open. Non-earthly entities immediately noticed the distress call from the blue planet across the universe, despite the tens of thousands of light-years distance. Responses from them started poured in…
The ocean was calm under the full moon after the final battle. The reflection of the moonlight on the horizon looked like millions of gold leaves dancing quietly. Veck sat alone on a rock, holding the remaining piece of Masumi’s mechanical brain.
She had blown herself up during the battle to destroy the main connection of the artificial synaptic network. The reign of Quantum 9 was weakened for now, but the casualties on his side were also enormous. They were ready to build a new world without Xavda Technology that they’d been exploiting for too long, but many of the rebels never saw their dreams come true.
Veck was thinking about Masumi’s shy smile when she swam in the ocean for the first time, just before they departed for the mission. She had told him that the real Masumi was still alive somewhere in the universe, waiting to be united with her father and her brother. Maybe it was true. But maybe it was just a delusion as she wanted so badly to be a part of a family saga that she’d never had.
Veck picked up a coconut shell on the shore, then he laid down Masumi’s mechanical brain with flowers and small shells inside, and sent them off onto the calm ocean. As the coconut shell drifted away, Veck saw the darkness on the horizon brighten ever so slowly, as the DAWN – a poetic transition between night and day – started painting the sky into a dark purple, then rose pink, before delivering the breathtaking first ray of light.
See you soon, Veck mumbled.
The words were his promise to the two Masumis and to his father to continue their journey. A journey to craft a new way of living with the legacy they had left on Earth. And he was sure that by pursuing his path, the law of the universe would eventually show him that their paths would cross again, beyond the reach of space and time…

2 – Narrow Escape

The Dahara was activated at last.
The portal began to open.
Non-earthly entities immediately noticed the distress call from the blue planet across the universe, despite the tens of thousands of light-years distance.
Responses from them started poured in…
