SUPERCOZI’s new song ” Cap Ferrat “, the opening track of Chillpresso 3, starts with a mysterious film soundtrack like piano and gradually builds to an open ending with layers of classical guitar and lyrical strings. It is over eight minutes long, and it would not be an overstatement to say that this is a work that breaks new ground for her. To express the world of the song in more depth, She directed music video with the help of local Nice-based artistic collective Musasabi , and it’s now available on the SPACE SHOWER MUSIC JAPAN YouTube, the biggest music TV channel in Japan with 350K subscribers.
Filming took place in various iconic places in South France including her base Nice, also Cap Ferrat, Villefranche-sur-Mer, Cannes, Monaco, and her cinematic music is complemented by images that evoke the influence of French cinema from the 60s to the 90s, which influenced her since her youth.

SUPERCOZI: is Nice Côte d’Azur based Japanese Electronica Producer / DJ. Her diverse style tunes, from cinematic Chillout or dark Synth pop Nu-disco to tranquil Asian Ambient had been featured on many compilations, and In 2021, her dubtronica cover remix of Pink Floyd’s 70s classic ‘Fearless’, was played by UK dub master Don Letts as the opening track on his popular BBC radio show ‘ Culture Clash ‘ . Her new track ‘ Cap Ferrat ’ is an elegant Glitch Chillstep, perfect opening for the ‘ Chillpresso 3 ‘. She is also a Hypo’s label head and a compiler of ‘ Chillpresso 3 ’.
Hideyo Blackmoon : Ibiza / Spain based Japanese producer / DJ / Singer. She was a key figure of the development of Tokyo Underground Ambient scene in late 90’s. Since 2000, She had been travelling the world chasing total eclipse of the sun, from a Festival in Zambia ( Africa ) to Altai Mountains ( Siberia ), playing her signature meditative ambient DJ sets. Since 2011, she lives in Ibiza / Spain where she produced a summer vibe Balealic ambient groove ‘ Islander ‘ for the compi, which also was released as a second leading single with a Chillstep remix by Supercozi.
Benji Vaughan : is a British artist and producer who is also known for a solo project Prometheus, and Younger Brother – progtronic psychedelic unit with Simon Posford. Benji’s crafts are always known for the distinct hybrid genre bending style with pulsing bass line, solid and celestial soundscapes, other-worldly melodies and the calling from the dark land – embodies both haunting beauty and the euphoric energy build up .. and ‘ Opera Girl ‘ make you taste them all. ‘Opera Girl‘ was released as 1st leading single from ‘Chillpresso 3’ with a berlin style 4/4 Nu-disco remix by Australian producer Gus Till.
Elastic : Hailed from Corfu (Greece), Elastic studied graphic design in Athens, then successfully built up his own catalog of highly acclaimed releases on impressive line of labels including Yellow Sunshine Explosion Records (YSE), Iboga Records. Deliciously hybrid future lounge Electronica with ambient / drone approach is his signature sound. Plus minimalistic groove and subtle deep house elements, Elastic carving out the abstract yet gently pulsing sound of his own.
AUX25 : Andrew Ross Collins is a man who had been conducting the orchestra of Interchill Records – Massively respected Canadian Ambient & Chillout pioneer label since 1995. He finally started music production in 2020 as AUX25 to carve out the hybrid soundscapes of his own. Frenzy Jazz funk or darker trip hop Electronica, his mind is full of openness to cross over multiple genres, driven by his infinity knowledge about music.
DF Tram : is Zagreb based Electronic music producer, originally hailed from California, U.S.A. His signature ‘ Trip hop meets 60’s beatnik hipster road trip movie ‘ like vibe, perfectly blended with spoken word, ambient, and psychedelia got attention by Martin ‘ Youth ‘ Glover ( Bassist of Killing Joke, Producer for Paul McCartney, The Orb, The Verve, etc.) legendary chill pioneer label Liquid Sound Design, and a low-fi vibe chilltronica master piece ‘ Serenitay Infinitay ‘ was released in 2018, which instantly made his mark on the scene.
Back Stage Gurus : is a Greek descent producer living in Frankfurt, Germany. Started making music with Algerian Tufik Maachi while playing traditional Greek Rebetiko Music since 90’s. His rich experiences with Mediterranean traditional music world, is definitely the foundation of Backstage Gurus’s world groove oriented style. Backstage Gurus’s tunes features Sufi tradition, strong melodies and Mediterranean instruments, which creates a power to evoke emotion of the music voyagers, especially the one with nomadic bohemian spirit.
DKM : DKM aka Seoul (South Korea) based Mcthfg and LA (U.S.A) based Phillip Otto is a Dub obsessed American duo. Mcthfg piled up subtly twisted Dubtronica releases from UK Dubmission while teaching English in South Korean capital after dropped out advertising industry in San Francisco. Otto emerged from the chaotic melting pot of Sub Pop grunge scene in Seattle, then being drew into Dub & Electronic music. DKM is an amalgamation of their shared love of dub, fused with glitch, bass music and trip-hop approaches.
Blue Planet Corporation : Blue Planet Corporation aka Gabriel Maurel is a French producer, originally known for 90’s Goa Trance classic album ‘ Blue Planet ‘, which gained him a royal fan base world wide. He is also known for deep, cinematic ambient works and Psychedelic yet eclectic down tempos that infusing influence of Exotica and Jazz elements. ‘ チルプレッソ 3 ‘ は南仏ニース・コートダジュールを拠点とするハイポ・エスプレッソ・レコードが発信するチルアウト・コンピレーション第3弾だ。
フランス、英国、カナダ、ドイツ、アメリカ、日本、イビサ、クロアチア、ギリシャ発のプロデューサー陣による9曲のハイブリッドなエレクトロニカが詰まっている。
東京ベイFMのラジオ番組ホストYuki Kawamuraが ” プロジェクトChillpressoとは、時空とあらゆる概念をトリップしながら音楽で綴る世界旅行記。ヘミングウェイの「移動祝祭日」か、ウェルベックの「ある島の可能性」のように、しなやかにトラベラーやノマドのスピリットを持つ民の感性を捉えて離さない ” とレビューで形容したように、それはリスナーをいつもの慣れ親しんだ日常を超えたトリップへと優雅に誘ってくれる至福のコンピレーションだ。

Hideyo Blackmoon : イビサ島、スペインを拠点に活動する日本人プロデューサー、DJ、シンガー。90年代後半の東京アンダーグラウンド・アンビエントシーン発展における中心人物でもある。2000年以降、アフリカのザンビアからシベリアのアルタイ山脈まで、皆既日食を追って世界中を旅し、彼女特有の瞑想的なアンビエントDJセットをプレイしてきた。
2011年からはスペインのイビサ島に在住し、本コンピのために製作した夏らしいバレアリックなアンビエントグルーヴ「Islander」は、Supercoziによるチルステップ・リミックスをカップリングしたコンピレーション発第二弾シングルとしてリリースされた。

Benji Vaughan : ソロプロジェクトのプロメテウスや、サイモン・ポスフォードとのプログレッシブ・サイケデリック・ユニット、ヤンガーブラザーとしても知られる英国人プロデューサー。ベンジーの作品は、脈打つベースライン、ソリッドなサウンドスケープ、別世界から聞こえてくるかのようなメロディーなど、ジャンルを超えたスタイルで知られており、心に残る美しさと陶酔的なエネルギーの蓄積を体現している。
７年ぶりにリリースされる新曲「オペラガール」はそのすべてを味わわせてくれる作品で、豪人プロデューサーGus Tillによるベルリンスタイルのニューディスコ・リミックスを伴いコンピ発の第一弾シングルとしてリリースされた。

DF Tram : 米カリフォルニア出身で現在はクロアチアの首都ザグレブを拠点に活動するプロデューサー。
ジャンルを融合したシネマティックな音世界が、伝説的な英国プロデューサーYouth（キリングジョークのベーシスト／ポール・マッカトニー、ザ・オーブ、ザ・ヴァーブなどのプロデューサー）主宰のチル界におけるパイオニア的レーベルであるL.S.Dに注目され、2018年にローファイなヴァイブのチルトロニカの傑作「セレニテイ・インフィニテイ」がリリースされた。スポークンワード、アンビエント、サイケデリアを絶妙に融合した、 ‘ トリップホップが６０年代ビートニクス世代のヒップスター・ロードムービーに出会った感じ ‘ のようなヴァイブは、瞬く間にシーンにその名を刻むこととなった。

Back Stage Gurus : ドイツ・フランクフルト在住のギリシャ系プロデューサー。90年代からギリシャの伝統音楽レベティコを演奏しながら、アルジェリア人のトゥフィック・マアチと音楽制作を開始。地中海の伝統音楽の世界での豊かな経験が、Backstage Gurusのワールドグルーヴ志向のスタイルの基礎になっていることは間違いないだろう。

DKM : DKMことソウル在住のMcthfgとLA在住のPhillip Ottoは、ダブに取り憑かれたアメリカ人デュオだ。Mcthfgは、サンフランシスコの広告業界からドロップアウトした後、韓国の首都で英語を教えながら、UK Dubmissionから微妙にひねくれたダブトロニカのリリースを積み重ねた。OttoはシアトルのSub Popグランジシーンという混沌としたメルティングポットから現れ、その後Dubとエレクトロニックミュージックに引き込まれた。DKMの音世界は、彼らが共有するダブへの愛と、グリッチ、ベースミュージック、トリップホップのアプローチを融合させたものである。

「Chillpresso 3」の最後を飾る「Extenebration」は、脈打つベース音と繊細に構築されたシンセのレイヤーが織りなす、まさに彼らしいSF映画のサウンドトラックのような11分の壮大なアンビエントである。
