My recent trip to my home country Japan .. really made me realize how much of inspirations I constantly getting from Côté d’Azur region since I moved here in 2018.
Here in the South of France, I may still be an étranger – a foreigner or traveller and a mere immigrant – but I am also undoubtedly someone who has experienced four seasons, the ups and downs of life and all the emotions that have played out here – from up lifting summer to mélancolique autumn. Then dépression of winter to newly rising sign of joy in spring .. I lived through them emotionally.
Just like only time helps a good wine to ripen in the bottle, I need those experience to make music. I need to live my life first. I am a slow learner like a tortoise. I can’t hurry this process in order to manufacture dozens of similar sound like a machine.
And the beauty of the Côté d’Azur after you felt up and down of life .. Is a catalyzer .. to provoke soundscapes and never ending desire to translate the atmosphere of Mediterranean sun and life into music …
I now fully understand why so many master artists like Picasso, Matisse choose hère to continue their art life. It’s the light that mesmerize you and the dry air to allows you to move on from the darkness.
I know my time is limited on the earth. Then now the thing only matter to me .. is this urgent feeling to capture these essence.

コート・ダジュールに戻って
先日の母国・日本への旅で、2018年にコート・ダジュール地方に引っ越して以来、どれほど沢山のインスピレーションをこの地域が私に与えてくれていたかを実感した。
ここ南仏において、私はまだエトランジェ ー 外国人または旅行者、そして単なる一人の移民なのであろうとは思うが、同時にここで4つの季節と、そこで繰り広げられた人生の浮き沈みとあらゆる感情を味わってきた者であるのも間違いはない。
高揚する夏からメランコリックな秋へ。そして冬の憂鬱から新たに湧き上がる春の喜びの兆しまで…… 私はそれらを感情的に生き抜いた。
良いワインが瓶の中で熟成するのに時間が必要なように、私にとって音楽を製作するのにはそういった体験が必要だ。 私はまず自分の人生を生きなければならない。私は亀のように学習が遅い。機械のように何十もの似たような音を作るために、このプロセスを急ぐことはできない。
そして、人生の浮き沈みを感じた後のコートダジュールの美しさ…それは触媒である…サウンドスケープを誘発し、地中海の太陽と生活の雰囲気を音楽に変換したいという終わることのない欲求を育む触媒。
ピカソやマティスのような多くの巨匠芸術家たちが、芸術生活を続けるために南仏を選んだ理由が、今なら十分に理解できる。 それは、あなたを魅了する光と、暗闇から前進することを可能にする乾いた空気だ。
私の地球上での時間は限られている。そして今、私にとって重要なのは……この本質を捉えたいという切迫した感情だけなのだ。
こうしてアートライフは続いていく…。
